Getting Started

Chapter is your uni companion: compare courses and universities, find accommodation, discover events & societies, and stay on track from first search to graduation—everything in one app.
Chapter is available on iOS. Android and web are planned soon, follow our social channels for updates.
Follow a university to see open days, add them to your in-app calendar, and enable notifications so you don't miss anything.

Courses & Universities

Go to the Course Match widget. Tell us your interests, grades, sports and location preferences. Our matching considers entry requirements, graduate outcomes, student ratings, distance, and more to surface compatible options for you.
We combine public datasets from HESA and UCAS with student feedback collected in-app. Where available, we reference provider information and league tables.
Yes—use click the compare widget, or the compare icon on any course page to stack entry reqs, graduate outcomes, and student ratings in one view.

Accommodation

Yes. Filter by price, distance to campus, room type, ensuite, bills included, and more. Save filters to reuse later.
Open a listing and tap 'Contact'. We'll show the official website, phone, or enquiry form when available.

Events & Societies

We list society pages, fixtures, and events from partners and verified submissions. Follow favourites and get reminders.
Yes. Use ‘Submit an event’ in the Events tab, or contact us to claim and verify your society.
You're automatically put into group chats based on your course, accommodation & interests. You can also search for groups to join via the 'What's On' tab, or create your own group chats.

Account & Billing

During our launch phase, Chapter is completely free. We may introduce premium features in the future, but core functionality will remain free.
Go to Settings → Account. If verification failed due to a typo, update your email and request a fresh verification link.

Privacy & Safety

We only collect what's needed to run the app and improve your experience. See our Privacy Policy for details and controls. We never sell your data.
From Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. Or email us with the subject 'Data deletion request'. We'll confirm once complete.

Troubleshooting

Force-quit and reopen. Ensure you're on the latest version. If it persists, email us with steps to reproduce and your device/OS.
Check spam/junk, then tap 'Resend code' in Settings → Account. If you mistyped your email, you can update your email on the verification page.
